Mayhem

Mayhem is a sloping reef where the coral starts at 5 to 7 m and large bommies ringed by glassfish sit on the slope. Currents bring in fusiliers, and with them barracuda, jacks, giant trevally and dogtooth tuna, while whitetip and blacktip reef sharks patrol. Wobbegong sharks and barramundi cod rest on the reef, and two species of pygmy seahorse and many nudibranchs reward a slow look. Soul Scuba Divers report dolphins and pilot whales on the boat ride out.
