Chicken Reef
Papua Diving divides Chicken Reef into four dives: Chicken Reef, Chicken Bay, Sleeping Barracuda and Surgeonfish Slope. The reef slopes steadily with a mix of hard and soft corals, and huge numbers of fusiliers swarm over it. The small fish draw barracuda, whitetip reef sharks and trevallies, and Soul Scuba Divers describe it as one of their adrenaline dives when the current runs. Among the corals divers find pipefish, pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, crocodilefish and wobbegong sharks.
