Asho's Gap
Also known as: Ashos Gap
Asho's Gap is named after a well-known Coral Bay skipper. Grey reef sharks come in to a large cabbage coral, hold position in the current with their mouths open and let cleaner wrasse work over their teeth and gills. More than thirty sharks have been reported at once, mostly in the warmer months. Rays, wobbegongs, nurse sharks, turtles, schools of trevally and barracuda are also common. Liveaboard trips offer it as a snorkel or a scuba dive.
