HMS Stubborn

Also known as: P238

HMS Stubborn was 66 m long and was deliberately sunk by the Royal Navy on 30 April 1946 to serve as a training target for submarine sonar. The hull is largely intact and tilts slightly to starboard. Sources put the shallowest parts of the wreck at about 45 to 50 m, so it is a dive for technical or very experienced divers. Divers should use the shot line to the wreck to avoid an open-water ascent.
