MV Pippo

Also known as: Pippo

The 18 m boat was built in Malta in 1976 and used for surveys and later in the tuna farming industry. It started taking on water on a trip from Comino to Malta and sank. Unlike most modern Maltese wrecks it was not prepared for divers, and tuna cage equipment is still attached at the stern. The surrounding seabed is only sand, so dives here are usually short.
