Susie's Pool

Also known as: Marfa Point (The Madonna)

The rocky plateau is only about 6 m deep and is a common place to practise skills at the start of a dive holiday. From its edge the reef drops steeply, and halfway along the wall a small cavern holds a statue of Our Lady placed by the Amphibians Diving Club in November 1987. A commemorative plaque was added in 2007 and a small crib at Christmas 2017. Continuing west at around 15 m leads to a large swim-through that crosses the headland. Groupers and octopus are seen in the area.
