Anadrian

Also known as: Anadrien · Dredger Anadrian

The Anadrian was built by Ferguson Brothers in Glasgow and was used mainly to clear bombs and wrecks from Grand Harbour after the Second World War. Her last task was during the construction of the Freeport, and she was scrapped in 1989 and scuttled about ten years later. Her triple expansion steam engine was removed and is on display at the Maritime Museum in Birgu. Otherwise the roughly 40 m wreck is in good shape on a sandy seabed.
