Bianca
The site takes its name from a large white Indonesian phinisi called Bianca that is moored just off the shore. Divers enter next to the ship and descend a sandy slope with many outcrops, mostly sponge formations, before zigzagging back up. Several frogfish species, nudibranchs, mantis shrimps and ribbon eels are common, and in the shallows a bank of staghorn coral with anemones hosts Banggai and pyjama cardinalfish and mandarinfish that can be seen even during the day. Divers Lodge Lembeh counts Bianca among the classic muck sites of the strait.
