Aw Shucks
The site got its name from the first divers who explored it and exclaimed "Aw Shucks!" at the number of critters they found. The shallows carry a lush mix of corals and sponges with leaf scorpionfish, cuttlefish and a good choice of nudibranchs. Below, the sand slope holds flamboyant cuttlefish, seahorses, ghost pipefish, sea moths and sand octopus such as mimic octopus and wonderpus. Dive Into Lembeh counts Aw Shucks as one of its two house reefs, and the shallows are also suitable for snorkelling.
