Tank Wreck

The tank, a US-built 1960 model complete with its 105 mm gun, was sunk in 2016 to attract dive tourism, first in Kaş harbour at 5 metres and later moved to its present spot off Pigeon Island. It is one of only a few divable tank wrecks in the world. Sponges and schooling fish quickly took over the hull, and it is counted among the most photogenic dives in Kaş. The shallow, calm setting makes it a natural first wreck for newly certified divers, and it can be combined with a nearby wreck on the same dive.
