Altuğ Wreck
Also known as: Altuğ Shipwreck · Altuğ Meis Batığı
The Altuğ is one of the lesser-known wrecks of Kaş, and Turkish sources list it as part of the Hidayet dive area. It was being towed to a marina for maintenance when the lines parted, and it sank to the seabed, where it rests on its port side. The hull has several levels that can be explored, with faded lettering still readable on the plating. Close by sits a small Cessna-type aircraft that is hard to recognise as a plane. Because of its depth and the interior levels, it is described as an advanced dive.
