Cave II
Also known as: Cave II and the Likya wreck · Likya Batığı · Likya wreck
Cave II combines a wall, a shallow cave and a small wreck. The Likya wreck, a little wooden boat of which only the frame remains, lies on the sand at about 24 metres, and the wall to its south is full of hollows, drop-offs and sponges. Heading towards the cave, a rocky drop-off and a straight wall lead to a spot below the cave where two rocks lean together to form a small tunnel. Dive centres stay out of the cave itself, which is described as one of the last refuges of the rare Mediterranean monk seal; Blue Team mentions a cold freshwater spring there. Groupers, octopus and moray eels are regulars along the wall.
