Oasis Reef

Also known as: Oasis · Oasis Banko

Oasis Reef owes its name to the burst of life around an isolated rock surrounded by sand and Posidonia seagrass. Groupers here are accustomed to divers, and the amphorae on the reef are considered exceptional. Heading east from the deepest point leads to the remains of a small wooden wreck and then back up onto seagrass meadows, where triggerfish, barracuda and turtles are seen. Because it lies beside the Canyon, dive centres often use it as the second dive without moving the boat.
