Small Giftun
Also known as: Small Giftun Drift · Giftun Soraya · Little Giftun
The dive starts opposite the small police station on the island and follows a wall that seems to have no bottom, covered in giant gorgonian fans, sea whips and black coral. With the current usually coming from the north, divers keep the reef on their right shoulder and drift south until the wall merges with a plateau between about 15 and 25 m. Caves lie at around 35 m, and a tunnel at 40 to 45 m is beyond the limit of most dive centres. Napoleon wrasse and moray eels are reliably found on the plateau, while turtles, jacks and tuna pass along the wall. Sheltered moorings on the south side make the island a common lunch stop.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
