Hamda
Also known as: Stone Beach · Umm Dom · Hamata · Na Hamda
Under the boat lies a large lettuce coral on a plateau that slopes from about 15 m towards a drop-off, with steep walls at both ends. Heading north, divers pass two sandy patches before reaching the wall, and the shallow zone at 3 to 4 m on the way back is often the most colourful part. Above the plateau swim large schools of blue fusiliers and redtooth triggerfish with solitary tuna and snappers. Moray eels, scorpionfish and barracuda live on the plateau, where many cleaning stations are busy with waiting fish. Whale sharks have been sighted here a few times.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
