Punta Lobos
Also known as: La Loberita · Old Sea Lion Colony
Punta Lobos once held a colony of around 150 sea lions, which is why it is also called the old sea lion colony or La Loberita. The bottom slopes to about 14 m before a wall of big boulders drops further, and the site is often done as a drift. Octopus and giant seahorses in many colours are typical finds. In late spring and summer, mobula rays gather here, sometimes in very large schools. The Dive Gurus describe it as a deep wall site with frequent pelagic visitors.
