Tagbao Island

Also known as: Tres Marias

Off the north-west point of Miniloc lie the two small Tagbao islets, with three reefs between them that give the place its local name Tres Marias. The water is shallow, so the site suits beginners and snorkellers. Corals and sponges are colourful, and painted crayfish are a typical sighting. Its deeper edges are a vantage point for pelagic fish, and PuertoParrot mentions small reef sharks, turtles and occasional dolphins. PuertoParrot also lists the blue ring angelfish here.
