The shallow part is full of rocks and crevices with octopus, morays, congers, feather stars and encrusting anemones. The south-eastern side is steeper, from about 10 to 30 m, where dentex and Mediterranean barracuda pass in open water and gorgonians grow near the bottom. Schools of bream, picarel and salema follow each other through the seasons, and eagle rays are seen occasionally.
