Cattedrale
The wide entrance opens on a sandy bottom at the foot of a slope and is crowned with yellow, white and pink sponges. Inside, the cave is roughly 8 to 10 m high, and its many stalactites, stalagmites and columns, which give the cave its name, force divers to weave between them. One stalagmite resembles a small statue of the Madonna. Large forkbeards, lobsters, marbled electric rays and cave shrimps live inside, and on the way out sunlight filters into the entrance. The sandy floor calls for excellent buoyancy control, and boats moor right above the cave because of the frequent current outside.
