Banconi dell'Alera
Also known as: Banconi della Lera
Divers moor at the buoys placed by the marine park about 100 m from shore and follow two rocky ridges from about 12 m across a lush Posidonia meadow grazed by large salema. The two banks, themselves covered with seagrass, are riddled with recesses and holes. White and two-banded bream share them with many wrasse, dusky groupers hover over the seagrass, and morays show themselves at full length. Brown meagre are the most abundant fish, vanishing into a hole on one side and reappearing on the other.
