Temple Point

Also known as: Ganesh Corner

Temple Point lies at the north-eastern tip of Menjangan Island, beneath temples and a large statue of Ganesh that divers can see from the boat. Blue Season Bali begins the drift at a mooring off the island's single north side jetty and lets the current carry divers around the eastern point. A coral-covered plateau suits newer divers, while the wall on the eastern side drops to about 30 m with cracks and overhangs. Blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays and schools of reef fish are typical, and stonefish and sea moths live on the bottom. With a favourable current the dive continues toward Bat Cave.
