Tai Sapi

Tai Sapi lies between Seraya Secret and Batu Niti, beside a river outlet that is dry for part of the year, and it is only dived during the dry season. From a narrow beach a shallow plateau leads to a gentle black sand slope that the river bank divides into two zones. Toward Seraya the sand is mixed with coral patches and holds frogfish, ghost pipefish and nudibranchs, while toward Batu Niti the bottom is fine silt that clouds easily but can reveal pompom crabs and pipefish. There are no facilities for divers beyond the beach itself. World Adventure Divers notes that the name means "cow dung" in Indonesian.
