Segara

Also known as: Segara Point · Segare

Segara lies near the Segara temple at the end of the bay south of Tulamben village, next to the Emerald site. Fine black sand and few stones make the entry easy, and a shallow plateau at about 3 m turns into a gentle sandy slope. The slope is a macro site with Shaun the Sheep and donut nudibranchs, shrimps, frogfish and decorator crabs. Heading toward Emerald, divers reach a reef with coral bommies where stingrays feed and schools of mackerel cruise. It is often used for training dives as well as photography.
