Sanur Channel
The top of the reef lies at about 3 m and the sandy bottom slopes gently, so courses and first open water dives often take place here. Lionfish, large pufferfish, anemonefish, small barracuda, sea snakes and shoals of batfish are typical sightings. Steel structures and underwater sculptures serve as artificial reef. At night moray eels and octopus hunt over the reef. Dive times depend on the tide, which also governs visibility and current.
