Deep Reef

Deep Reef is a sloping reef in Pemuteran Bay covered in corals, sponges and sea fans. Easy Divers and Abyss Ocean World both run coral restoration work here, and the reef is described as recovering well. The dive is mainly about small life: many nudibranchs such as nembrothas and chromodoris, flatworms, mantis shrimp, scorpionfish and electric clams. Octopus, cuttlefish, green turtles and spotted eagle rays are occasional visitors. Abyss Ocean World recommends diving it on Nitrox because of the depth.
