Deep Blue

Deep Blue is about 15 minutes by jukung south of Jemeluk. Divers enter in a shallow bay where coral bommies and sea fans are crowded with small fish. From there they descend to around 30 m and let the current carry them along the edge of the reef; Bali Aqua notes that the flow here is usually horizontal. Batfish, snapper and barracuda school along the edge, and giant trevally, Napoleon wrasse and reef sharks are typical sightings. Because of the depth and current, dive centres reserve it for Advanced Open Water divers and above.
