Cave Point

Cave Point lies on the same reef system as Pos 2, further along the coast of Menjangan Island, and is usually dived from its own mooring. Its highlight is a shallow cave at around 12 to 14 m set into the wall, home to a group of electric clams and, in the right season, to resting juvenile whitetip reef sharks. Blue Season Bali describes the wall as dropping straight to a sandy bottom at about 50 m, with alcoves, swim-throughs and fissures that let shafts of light in. Gorgonians, sponges and hard corals cover the wall, and trevally, barracuda and eagle rays pass in the blue. Currents are usually weak, so divers of all levels and snorkellers can enjoy it.
