Blue Corner

Also known as: Jurassic Point

Divers roll off the boat onto a slope from about 10 m with soft corals, pufferfish, sea snakes, scorpionfish and triggerfish. The current then carries them towards the corner, a deep wall with an overhang at about 25 m that offers shelter. Terraces dropping to 50 m hide whitetip reef sharks and large marbled rays, while schools of snapper, jacks, sweetlips, giant trevally and tuna gather at the point. Eagle rays and Napoleon wrasse are also seen, and mola mola appear from about July to October. With currents of 2 to 6 knots that can change, the corner cannot be reached on every dive.
