Bio Wreck

Also known as: Biowreck

Bio Wreck is a conservation project of Reef Seen in Pemuteran Bay. Two artificial structures, one shaped like a boat and one like a turtle, were fed with low-voltage current to speed up coral growth, next to a large natural coral bommie. Today they are thriving habitats with shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs, parrotfish, trumpetfish, mantis shrimp and leaf scorpionfish. Octopus, ghost pipefish, cuttlefish and pygmy seahorses are among the rarer sightings. It is suitable for snorkelling and easy fun dives as well as macro photography.
