Bias Tugel

Also known as: Bias Tugal · White Sand Beach

Bias Tugel lies in front of the white sand beach of the same name, across the ferry channel from Padang Bai. A plateau at 6 to 10 m is covered in soft corals, especially large leather corals, and scattered bommies, a good place for first dives and safety stops. Below it a sand and rubble slope drops steeply, reaching around 50 m according to Bottles Up and We Do OCEAN. Horizontal crevices around 30 m shelter stingrays, nurse sharks and lobsters, and the sea fans are searched for pygmy seahorses. When the current flows north toward the ferry channel, divers stay inside the bay.
