Batu Ringgit

Also known as: Baturinggit

Batu Ringgit belongs to the village of Kubu, north of the Boga Wreck and before Gerombong. Divers enter over rounded pebbles into shallow water and follow a slope of black sand and rubble with coral-covered ridges and rocky terraces. The site is mainly a macro dive, with ghost pipefish, frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, whip coral shrimps and the small Doto nudibranch. World Adventure Divers recommends going down to about 28 to 30 m, where patches of white hydroids host the large Iriomote Phyllodesmium nudibranch. Few divers visit, which keeps it calm compared with Tulamben Bay.
