Dive sites around New Providence lie along the coast hosting Nassau, the national capital. The region is known for reliable shark encounters, including baited dives with Caribbean reef sharks and the unbaited Shark Buoy site where pelagic species are seen. The area also includes Nassau's Lost Blue Hole. Best shark-diving season is roughly November through May.
