Southwest Reef

Southwest Reef spreads over a wide area of shallow water, roughly 4.5 to 9 m deep, about 6 miles off the coast of New Providence. Fields of blade fire coral with elkhorn and brain corals form a colourful reef system. Large schools of grunts and other fish move over the coral. Scuba Diving calls it a beginner site and, quoting Stuart Cove's, says its shallow depth should not put divers off its rich reef life.
