Booby Rock
Booby Rock is a small rock off the south-east coast of St. John, named for the booby seabirds that perch on it. Wannadive lists it as a reef dive, giving an average depth of about 11 m and a maximum of about 15 m. Rays, reef sharks and schools of reef fish are reported, and a diver's log mentions a very large French angelfish and a lobster. Palm Tree Charters notes that the location and currents can be tricky, so it is best visited with an experienced boat crew.
