HMS Nasturtium

Launched in December 1915, the sloop was stationed in Malta. On the evening of 27 April 1916 she struck a mine while searching for mines and submarines, and slowly flooded. The wreck is well preserved apart from some damage at the stern, with fittings such as portholes still visible. The wooden deck has gone, and the hull is now heavily covered in sponges. Access is managed by Heritage Malta and needs a permit.
