HMS Southwold

Also known as: Southwold

HMS Southwold was escorting the MW10 convoy to Malta when she was damaged and sank while under tow. The bow section, the larger part, lies on its starboard side, and the stern sits upright somewhat deeper. Both parts are technical dives. The site is managed by Heritage Malta and requires a permit, and strong currents can occur.
