Los Tres Mosqueteros

Los Tres Mosqueteros are three rocks grouped off the north coast of Malpelo. Currents colliding around them can be strong enough to cause visible turbulence, and they bring in schools of mackerel and red snappers so dense that they darken the water. Silky sharks, Galapagos sharks and single hammerheads cut through the fish, and tunas pass in the blue. A tunnel runs through the middle rock and shelters smaller marine life.
