Richardson Rock

Richardson Rock lies far out in the open ocean and can only be dived on calm days. It is a series of pinnacles with steep walls, crevices and valleys, and its rock is pitted with large, almost circular holes that divers can drop into to escape surge. Walls and holes are covered with colourful invertebrates, and octopus, lingcod, vermilion rockfish and wolf eels are present. It lies in a marine reserve, so nothing may be taken.
