Anse 3 Aires
Conosciuto anche come: Anse Trois Aires · Anse 3 Airs · Anse Trois Airs
Unlike most coves of the peninsula, Anse 3 Aires has no seagrass in its centre but is lined with rocks from the surface to about 7 m. The remains of a small freighter, the 3 Aires that gave the cove its name, lie scattered across these rocks and the sandy bottom, with the bow and engines within reach of first-time divers. Angelfish, lane snapper and small groups of cuttlefish live in the wreckage, and needlefish school just under the surface. From 7 m a sandy area hosts a field of urchins and is used by Alpha Plongée to start its PADI courses.
