Anse Dufour
Also known as: Tombant de l'Anse Dufour · Pointe Dufour
The dive usually starts on the southern side of the cove, where a boulder slope from the surface to about 7 m serves first-time divers. Below it a seagrass bed feeds green turtles, and once outside the cove the route follows a wall where hawksbill turtles are often met. The big rocks shelter octopus, angelfish, porcupinefish, moray eels and lobsters, and seahorses are sometimes found. A light current often carries divers along, so the site is also run as a drift dive. Anse Dufour and neighbouring Anse Noire are a geological curiosity, formed by an inversion of relief around an old lava flow.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
