Trou du Souffleur
The blowhole is the attraction: waves push air through the cave ceiling and the noise can be heard before entering the water. Looking out from the back of the cave, divers see schools of fish framed in the entrance like a projection on a screen. The dive then follows rocks and sand to about 20 m before dropping along a scree slope where king mackerel and jacks hunt. Sergeant majors and other schooling fish are everywhere, and the holes in the scree hide French angelfish and spotted drums. Divers need good buoyancy inside the cave because its ceiling is low.
