Grand Canyon
The dive begins with a slow swim across a thick kelp forest until the canyon opens up between two vertical rock walls. Dead man's fingers and anemones coat the walls and give the gorge strong colours. Visiting divers report lumpfish, sculpins that blend into the rock, big nudibranchs and shoals of young pollock holding in a light current. The canyon ends on a kelp-covered shelf, and in early summer daylight still reaches past 20 m.
