MRS-25
Also known as: Minenräumschiff 25 Rio · MRS-25 Rio · Minenraumschiff 25
MRS-25 was being built at the Moss yard for an Oslo owner when the Kriegsmarine took over the project and had her completed for mine clearance work. She survived the war and was then used to sweep mines along the Norwegian coast, until she struck a magnetic mine on 18 July 1945 and went down off Mortsund. The wreck is almost 107 m long, and Dykkepedia describes it as being in relatively good condition at 35 to 45 m. Lofoten Diving takes divers out to her by fast RIB from Ballstad.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
