Dawra tas-Sanap

The boat anchors inside the inlet and the dive follows the vertical wall round the headland towards Xlendi. A corridor between a house-sized boulder and the cliff, a short pass-through and a cavern with a semicircular entrance come before the arch. Below, the wall drops almost vertically to boulders and a sandy bottom that lies at 45 to 65 m. Spiny lobsters, nudibranchs, dentex, amberjack and shoals of saddled bream and salema are seen, and the clear water makes it one of Gozo's best photo sites.
