Divers enter easily from the small spit of land on the left. The stones of former dike reinforcements carry many kinds of anemones. Visibility is usually better on the falling tide after low-water slack than on the rising tide. Staying fairly shallow avoids the strongest current, and because the estuary is narrow here the forbidden fairway is close to the site.
