Inchcape 2

Also known as: Inch 2

Inchcape 2 was donated by Inchcape Shipping Services and scuttled in April 2002 after more than two weeks of cleaning, deliberately in shallower water than Inchcape 1 so that more divers could reach it. Doors and hatches were removed so trained divers can swim through, entering at the aft engine room hatches and exiting forward. Cyclone Gonu removed the wheelhouse in 2007. Yellow, pink and purple growth now covers the hull, and local guides count at least 20 nudibranch species on it alongside shoaling fusiliers, giant pufferfish, scorpionfish, lionfish and moray eels. Its position opposite Martini Rock lets boats combine a wreck and a reef dive.
