Martini Rock
Martini Rock is formed by two pinnacles that rise to within about 3 m of the surface, so divers can circle from the shallow crown down to the deeper base on one tank. Whip corals and soft corals in orange, purple and yellow cover the rock, and sandy gullies between the reef sections shelter small life. Shoals of Arabian mackerel, trevally, fusiliers and sergeant majors hang over the pinnacles, while nudibranchs, cowries, shrimps and crabs hide in the coral. Larger visitors include porcupine pufferfish, moray eels, green and hawksbill turtles and barracuda. A slight current can run over the site, and the Inchcape 2 wreck lies opposite.
