Kaiyuan Harbor Blue Hole
Also known as: Blue Hole · Blue Cave · 開元港藍洞 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 藍洞 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))
From the breakwater of the old harbour divers swim out about 150 m towards the large rock outside the port. The openings lie at about 13 to 20 m, and a narrow gorge about 3 m wide leads into the cave, where blue light filtering in gives the fish a dreamlike look. The passages are roomy and short enough that freedivers also swim through them. Further out, huge sea fans of at least 4.5 m grow on cliffs at about 35 m. The site is close to the harbour channel, so a surface buoy and attention to ferry times are needed.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
