Maiuru
Maiuru mirrors Ohotu on the other side of the north pass. A channelled reef flat at about 20 m, covered with table corals and soft corals, leads to a steep drop-off into the blue. TOPDIVE says it holds fewer fish than Ohotu but rewards divers with its setting and unexpected encounters. Schools of barracuda, surgeonfish and snappers, sharks, napoleon wrasse and occasionally manta rays or dolphins are seen along the wall.
