Saba Island
Saba Island is a small island off St. Thomas with two dives that are often joined. Blackbeard's Eye is a shallow tunnel ending in a pool inside the island that is open to the sky. From there the dive continues south to The Fence, a large reef spur that climbs from about 80 ft to within 30 ft of the surface and is dominated by star and brain corals. Queen and French angelfish and southern stingrays feeding in the sand are reported. The island has no mooring, and boats that anchor on the calmer west side leave divers a long swim to the middle of the south side.
